Main Purpose of Job
To support the Finance Controller in an expanding finance function
|
Key Tasks
· To maintain Sales & Purchase ledger on Sage Accounts for specified clients
· To maintain accurate fixed asset registers
· To carry out balance sheet reconciliatory work
· To produce month end management accounts
· To carry out cost vs. budget trend analysis
· To produce VAT returns
· To manage company cash flow

Attributes Required
Education
|
A good general education is essential in a subject allied to the areas of accountancy and ideally a qualified or part-qualified ACCA studier
|
Experience (Essential)
|
· Strong Sales, Purchase & General ledger Skills to P&L level
· Basic Management accounts , budgeting and forecasting experience
· Balance sheet reconciliation experience
|
Experience (Desirable)
|
· Knowledge Sage Accounts a distinct advantage
· Basic payroll processing knowledge
|

|
· Computer literate (Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel).
· Proactive, analytical and logical thinker.
· Strong commercial skills coupled with excellent communication skills.
